D. Nelson Fong, MD

A native of Oklahoma City, Dr. Fong attended Stanford University in California where he studied Biological Sciences with an emphasis in molecular and cellular biology. He returned to Oklahoma to be home with his family and completed his medical training at the University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Fong currently serves as the medical director of Lakeside Women’s Hospital and of Lakeside Doctors Gynecology and Obstetrics, along with other INTEGRIS Boards that oversee patient safety and quality. He enjoys ensuring his patients and all Lakeside patients receive the highest level of care.

Clinical interests of Dr. Fong include fertility evaluation and care, low and high risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive surgeries including robotic, laparoscopic, and vaginal surgeries.

Dr. Fong is married to his high school sweetheart Erin with whom he is raising their two young boys. When he’s not with his patients, Dr. Fong enjoys spending time with his family, fitness training, outdoor trips, and running obstacle races.

Dr. Fong speaks English, Spanish, and is conversant in Mandarin Chinese.
